Meal Sizes, frequency, quantity for fibromyalgia and hypoglycemia

Portion Sizes for fibromyalgia and hypoglycemia, Meal Frequency, and Meal Quantity:

Portion Sizes
To keep insulin levels from rising, you need to eat more healthy proteins, more healthy fats, along with "light"/"non-filling" carbohydrates. Sample meals would be:

- 3 ounces of chicken breast, 4 peanuts, and 1 1/2 cups of blueberries.

- 3 ounces of fish, 1 macadamia nut, 3 cups of strawberries.

Important Word about Portion Sizes - Never eat a carbohydrate only meal
It's important to mention that you cannot eat "Light" / "Non-filling" carbohydrates alone. They must be eaten with an equal or greater amount of protein together. Eating "Light / Non-filling" carbohydrates alone will raise insulin levels, decrease blood sugar, and induce fatigue.

Meal Frequency - always eat smaller meals
It is best to eat 4-5 smaller meals per day. The logic is that eating too much food in one sitting can also increase insulin, decrease blood sugar, and induce fatigue.
